Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Bowline (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Your account

You're responsible for the security of your account credentials and for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 to use Bowline.

3. Your content

You own the people, notes, and other content you put into Bowline. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the Service — including sending note text to Anthropic to generate the AI features described in our privacy policy.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to harass others, store content you don't have a right to store, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service.

5. AI output

Generative AI output may be inaccurate. You're responsible for reviewing AI-generated summaries, facts, and nudges before acting on them.

6. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms; significant changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, communicated in-app.
